Melinda Kushner
What is your favorite sitcom of all time?
I would have to say The Office. I never missed an episode and whenever my family watched it together we’d trash the most recent episodes. The reason I like it so much is the dynamics of how people that are thrown together on a daily basis can make it work. Love that show!

Name one item on your bucket list. I would like to go on an African safari. Not kidding!

If you could give yourself advice as a child, what would it be? I think it would be that nothing is forever. What you think and how you feel today won't be what you think and feel tomorrow, next week, or next year. Time heals. Take a step back and know that things change and we need to adapt, and that most of the time, even though you don't think it's possible, things change for the better. The old saying, if you close the window, a door might open. Nothing stays the same so you just better be prepared to ride the roller coaster.

At a Michelin star restaurant overlooking the most beautiful beach in my stretch-waist banded shorts. I'm enjoing an all-you-can-eat meal of freshly steamed Alaskan King Crab legs with sides of melted butter and Old Bay seasoning served by a waiter with an Australian accent.

If I could give myself advice as a child, I would tell her that she is not inadequate, don't let the fear of failing paralyze you from what you want. Say yes to opportunities. Years are short so don't waste them by dwelling on disappointments. Speak your mind, there’s nothing wrong with a little healthy debate. I would tell her not to borrow worries. Hold your head high, everything is a season and seasons still change.
